Stardust to work with Rouge

For those of you who dont know who Rouge, is Laura, Amrita and Legha make up the line-up of Rogue - new group to hit the UK. Although they are only on their first single, the girls have already worked with many top names in the industry, including top producer Zeus and world famous director Ray Kay, who has most recently worked with Destiny�s Child on their "Soldier" video. They have also performed alongside Girls Aloud and Big Brovaz at a top awards event, and have been nominated in Best Newcomer categories at several award shows.

Anyway. I might be working with them. Its bin pending for a while now. I dont know why I didnt say anything. Without giving out too many details. Theyre album should be done by the end of February so will let you know if the track makes the album or not. Timbaland (mty favourate producer) is doing a track on the album. Along with some other top producers so am quite excited. Will let you know soon.

Pro Tools 8

As a producer, the tools with which you use is to craft your music are very very important. When I started I dintreally care much for sound quality or what I used. But when I compared my music to music you here that is proffesionally done, I realised even though the quality of music was almost the same, the sound quality was way too different. So I invested in equipment & the most highly decorated software in audio. Pro tools. It was an amazing upgrade & one which I advise any producer who takes their music seriously. In most proffesional studio, they use pro tools & one way or another. You will have to pass by it.

Anyway, the main reason I am writing this is too let you know that Pro tools 8, which I recently got for free, is AMAZING. I cant even start to describe the features it comes with. Besides looking really good, the sound quality it provides is phenomenal. Honeslty you wont need to hunt looking for synth & strings etc. I comes with all the synths you could think of. A drums sequencer, a mini grand piano. about 3 plugins with thousands of sounds from pads, to harps, guitar, synth. besides them being amazingly good. They sound amazing. They are highly customisable. The interfaces itself is onw so easy to use. You can mix & master a track in hours. (if time is short.) All I say is gibberish unless you actually use it. I give it 5/5. I will upload some new music soon & you can be the judge.

Stardustrumental 2!!! 2009 Preview

So as we swing into a new year. We all turn a new page & hope the new year is more promising than the last. Ive come a long way & yet have so far to go. Anyway heres one of the first instrumentals I made when I started using protools. Heaps of percussion & just a glimpse of whats to come in 09. I was reading an article which made me look back to the past. So I satrted listening to some of my older music. I found this one beat that I made which is pretty powerful to me. I kept it quite simple. I love it personally & I know not many pple have heard it. I made it back when I used to use just FL studio & I have mastered it with Pro tools or nothing. But I hope you'll enjoy it. Any thoughts..

Chase Baker (Produced by Stardust) (Street banger)

So I see ya'll like the club banger I did for Chase. Since Chases music is more for the streets, I made another track for him. Its sounds a bit like Drumma Boy I think. I dont really produce Hip Hop that much, but I respect the Alchemist & the Dres etc & want to venture into all genres. So I made this beat as simple as possible. Im not really a fan of simplicity but Im learning that you cant make eveything complex. Personally I like the Chorus. So here it is. Still in progress but tell me what you think..

Im might be working with a brooklyn rapper by the name of Chase Baker. He crazy on the mike & has real substance when it comes to his lyrics. Definately worth checking out. Falling in Love (Produced by Stardust)

Falling in love is another love jam Tk & I have done. Its a very emotional song for those brothers falling in love. Im still mixing the vocals to sound natural so this is still work in progress. Will post the actual one when Im done. On the 3rd verse I tried to trap the emotion of the song. Fellows we goota have emotion sometimes you know. The instrumental is quite simple. With songs like these theres no need to make it too complicated. Its was inspired by a Kelis song called 'Get along with you.' I hope you enjoy it.
